Summary and Overview Manager – International Reporting Obligations Scotland Permanent Full time Competitive Salary & Benefits Equiom Group acts in a management capacity (trustee, director, council etc) to multiple entities and structures globally, and as such, has obligations under relevant legislation to provide AEOI (FATCA & CRS) reporting, DAC6, MDR, and support the Group with the UK’s ECCTA Register of Overseas Entities legislation, along with other international disclosure regimes. As a Manager you will be part of the International Reporting Obligations Team, ensuring that we adhere to our regulatory obligations in line with global information exchange legislation and you will provide support, guidance and training to our global offices. Your New Role This list of duties is not exhaustive and may change from time to time according to business needs: In coordination with the Head of International Reporting Obligations, implement and monitor internal jurisdictional dashboards to assist location heads and other stakeholders to: Monitor and oversee adherence to legislation and future legislative changes and updates Monitor and oversee the steps to reporting Monitor and oversee adherence to known reporting timelines Assist the jurisdictions with reporting within the deadline(s) to all known reportable jurisdictions Identify, communicate, and mitigate incidence of penalties To assist the Head of International Reporting Obligations with the assessment, modification and implementation, where needed, of our internal processes and procedures to ensure we meet our regulatory compliance obligations with OECD, IRS / US Treasury and other multi-jurisdictional and global legislation Assist with the ongoing monitoring of our internal operational risk framework to mitigate any potential breaches, and financial risk To support our global offices so they: Understand the requirements of annual classification scoping for AEOI, ROE, Economic Substance and the implications of this Understand and implement information disclosure relevant due diligence processes and procedures in accordance with Equiom’s obligations Understand the requirements of the annual valuations process, including audit, and our reporting obligations. Understand and implement robust processes and procedures following classification of managed entities as Passive NFFE’s Understand the requirements of the ECCTA – Register of Overseas Entities legislation, and our reporting obligations, including verification and validation of submissions Beneficial Ownership registers Other duties, and responsibilities as defined What will you need to succeed in this role? As to be expected, we are searching for someone who can bring a range of skills and experiences to enhance the team.
