Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Analyst, Systems & Equity Reporting to join our accounting team. This new role will be responsible for optimizing accounting systems, including integration with reporting tools like Power BI. The position will also support various equity-related reporting requirements by automating reporting of extensive Excel data.
Key Responsibilities:
* Accounting Systems Management:
* Interface with IT to optimize accounting system utilization for internal and external reporting.
* Collaborate with IT and accounting teams to implement system enhancements and troubleshoot issues.
* Assist with development and maintenance of financial dashboards and reports using tools such as Oracle, Smartview, and Power BI.
* Ensure the seamless integration of accounting systems with other enterprise tools.
* Equity Reporting:
* Prepare and manage equity-related reports, including 3a9 exchanges, stock offerings, ATM programs, and stock buy-backs.
* Maintain accurate records of outstanding share counts and affiliate ownership schedules.
* Assist with the preparation of proxy statements and other regulatory filings.
* Financial Analysis & Reporting:
* Support month-end and year-end close processes by providing accurate equity data and reports.
* Conduct variance analysis and prepare detailed reports on equity transactions.
Requirements:
* Education & Experience:
* Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Finance, Accounting or a related field.
* Technologically Proficient.
* Excel Mastery.
* Data Science Principles.
* Analytical Skills:
* Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
* Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
* Communication & Interpersonal Skills:
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
