We are pleased to be working with an excellent International company based on the outskirts of Halifax, who are looking for an accounts assistant to join them on a full time, permanent basis. This is an excellent role for someone who is ambitious and looking to expand within the finance department.
You will be report into the financial controller and be joined by a team of 3.
Duties:
* Preparing regular reports on credit status, outstanding debts, and cash flow impact for management review.
* Bank reconciliations
* Cashbook management
* Balance sheet reconciliations
* Processing expenses claims
* Accounting analysis in support of management information requests e.g spend analysis
* Payment processing and accurate referencing
* Support of sales ledger & purchase ledger, including invoice processing and credit control
* Assistance in dealing with queries from both internal & external suppliers
* General ledger journal processing
* Assisting in Month-End Closing
* Assisting in Year-End Audit
* Ad hoc duties within finance/admin
