Would you like a Lidl meet and greet session with our team before receiving a guaranteed interview? We are holding a Recruitment Day on Thursday 24th October 2024 at Lidl, School Way, Okehampton, EX20 1EU. We’re hiring now for the following position: Customer Assistants (£12.40 to £13.35 per hour). Our recruitment day takes place between 9:30am and 4pm and will include a welcome introduction to Lidl as well as a face-to-face interview. Apart from your good selves, you will need to bring along with you on the day:
1. Your eligibility to work in the UK documentation (we will provide a full list of acceptable documents with your invitation)
2. Bank details (your own name must be listed on the account)
3. National Insurance Card or number
4. A P45 form from your previous employer
5. Dates of pre-booked holidays
6. A proof of address (driving license, Council tax bill etc).
CUSTOMER ASSISTANT - As a Lidl Customer Assistant, no two shifts are the same. From restocking shelves to jumping on tills, you’ll keep moving, keep business booming and never be bored. You’ll take pride in going the extra mile to keep the store clean, tidy and organised, working closely with your colleagues and making sure that every customer receives the service they deserve. You could even become a Freshness, Non-Food or Bakery Specialist. In return, we’ll give you a competitive salary based on equal opportunity and pay structures, plus an extra £2.00 per hour for work during bank holidays and £3.50 per hour for night shifts, as well as a generous benefits package designed to support your well-being and life outside Lidl.

Our store recruitment open days take approximately 1 hour to complete and will include a tour of the store and an interview. You will need to bring your right to work documentation with you, i.e. Passport, Share code etc.

1. Help our customers with their questions, queries and requests
2. Efficiently work deliveries as they arrive in store
3. Passionately provide excellent customer service
4. Proactively keep the bakery topped up by baking fresh goods
5. Expertly merchandise and maintain our middle aisles of Non-Food products
