Due to ongoing success, a Business Development Manager is required to continue the growth trajectory the business is enjoying.
Role Description:
You will be tasked with identifying new B2B sales opportunities, establishing strategic partnerships, and driving growth in key markets for a personal safety product portfolio, being instrumental in promoting the company’s mission of enhancing personal safety and well-being.
Main duties and responsibilities:
1. Identify, pursue, and close new B2B sales opportunities within targeted markets.
2. Develop and manage strategic partnerships that align with the company’s growth objectives.
3. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement B2B marketing strategies.
4. Maintain a deep understanding of the personal safety industry, including trends, technologies, products, and competitors.
5. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify business opportunities and understand customer needs.
6. Manage a sales pipeline and report on sales performance metrics.
7. Establish long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
8. Represent the brand at industry events, trade shows, and within relevant industry organisations.
Essential Experience & Skills:
1. The ability to ‘close’ opportunities.
2. Proven experience in a Business Development, Sales, or relevant role in the B2B sector.
3. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
4. Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
5. Demonstrated ability to drive sales and growth, meet targets, and form strategic partnerships.
6. Strong analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude.
