Key Requirements of the role:
To contribute to the attainment of the Group’s strategic objectives by:
1. Leading the Finance team in their performance of the day-to-day financial operations of the Group, ensuring all transactions are completed accurately, timely and efficiently;
2. Working with the CFO, develop a future-fit financial governance strategy, incorporating a robust internal control framework/DOAG with defined group-wide best practice requirements;
3. Supporting the CSR/corporate governance of the Group by acting as the DPO (Data Protection Officer) and helping develop the Group’s defined ESG strategy;
4. Business Partnering with the Sales and Operations teams to ensure commercial contractual risks are satisfactorily managed and accepted to support the growth of the Group;
5. Developing a ‘best in class’ resilient global finance department, using technology as a tool to streamline financial controls and processes to enable sustained international growth;
Key responsibilities:
* Provide financial support and leadership to all companies within the Armorgard Group;
* Oversee all Group accounts and investments including Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Cost Accounting/Analysis, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition/Allocation;
* Lead, motivate and develop the finance team through the setting of objectives, performance management and training on key areas of their roles to allow them to grow and support both the team and Armorgard;
* Effectively manage relationships of all internal and external financial stakeholders, including auditors, tax advisors, HMRC;
* Act as the DPO for Armorgard Limited (UK subsidiary);
* Develop the utilisation of Netsuite, ensuring efficient automated processes are in place to support strategic growth;
* Help define and implement the CSR/ESG framework of the Group;
* Manage the commercial contractual risks identified within the sales and operations processes, developing a strategic plan to reduce these risks;
* Support the Group in the design of a ‘business playbook’, ensuring department policies and processes are future-fit, documented and adhered to;
* Develop weekly/monthly/annual consolidated budgeting and reporting of the Group’s financial performance, reporting to internal and external stakeholders as required;
* Work with senior teams to identify both cost saving and value creation initiatives, helping to formulate strategies and plans;
* Manage and maximise cash flow, ensuring sufficient working capital is available to support the growth of the Group;
* Establish and implement financial reporting systems to comply with government regulations and legislation;
* Take ownership of FleetCheck, and Armorgard’s fleet insurance;
* Any other adhoc duties as reasonably required;

Qualifications and experience required:
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified;
* Significant PQE, with international experience a distinct advantage;
* Experience managing, leading and developing a high-performing team;
* Exceptional numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills;
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as good leadership and management abilities;
* Strong business acumen, along with the ability to influence at all levels;
* Advanced user of all Microsoft applications;
* Experience using Netsuite ERP system a distinct advantage;
* Experience in mergers & acquisitions and international finance;
* High attention to detail; organisational skills; critical thinking and problem-solving skills; research skills; analytical skills; understanding of data privacy standards;
