Job description The Technical Services (TS) Business and Programme Support Team provides coherence across our specialist areas. The team is the focal point for customers looking for support from TS, identifying and signposting the most effective route to the assistance sought. This position is demanding and important, necessitating an individual capable of operating efficiently in a high-paced environment with the ability to confidently work independently and prioritise tasks as vital. The TS Business Support Manager will be responsible for ensuring all TS colleagues adhere and conform with all agreed DIO TLB processes and operating procedures, and particularly those which are detailed under the key infrastructure process for: ensuring their senior manager is able to perform their function effectively and efficiently, in the delivery of TS activity assurance, and providing an efficient support service. Key tasks include: Stakeholder Management Identifying and building effective relations internally and externally of TS. Organising, improving and monitoring stakeholder relationships. Collaborate with the lead and the team in maintaining stakeholder information. Day to day collaboration with stakeholders and their teams. Maintain awareness of DIO corporate messaging. Front Door - Support to DIO and wider MOD Act as a lead contact for Project Managers and Subject Matter Experts, with responsibility for co-ordinating feedback and responses. Complete Subject Matter Expert Review Tracker and handle relevant Project folders. Present information using PowerBI. Recruitment Support the Programme Manager in the management of TS recruitment tasks. Update recruitment trackers and organise the associated folders. Communication and Engagement Lead the team in maintaining communications and engagement information and contracts. Employment Hours The post advertised is for 37 hours however the Ministry of Defence offers a range of flexibilities to enable a better work-life balance for employees.
