Role: Indirect Procurement Manager
Location: Slough
Salary: Up to £65k + corporate package
Type: Full time | Permanent | Hybrid
1st Executive are seeking an Indirect Procurement Manager on behalf of a worldwide retail technology (e-commerce) platform who operates in 165 countries, with offices in 46 countries and a revenue of $1.5bn within a rapidly growing market worth $1.3tr. Responsibilities:
* Identify and evaluate suppliers for indirect goods and services & negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure the best value, quality, and terms for the company.
* Monitor and manage the indirect spend to ensure it stays within budget and aligned with company objectives.
* Implement cost-saving strategies, such as bulk purchasing, long-term contracts, and supplier discounts.
* Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors, ensuring supplier performance is regularly assessed in terms of cost, quality, delivery, and compliance.
* Work closely with internal departments (e.g., HR, IT, marketing) to understand their needs and ensure procurement activities align with business goals.
* Ensure that the procurement process integrates well with other departments' operations and timelines.
* You will be in the office 2 days a week in Slough.
* Some travel may be required with trips to the US.
Experience:
* Experience managing end-to-end procurement projects across a portfolio of indirect and IT categories.
* Demonstrated knowledge and experience with the full procurement cycle, from sourcing, supplier selection, contract negotiation, purchasing to supplier relationship management and performance evaluation.
* Proficiency in using data and analytics to make informed decisions, track supplier performance, and identify opportunities for improvement. Familiarity with procurement management software like SAP Ariba, Oracle Procurement, or similar platforms is advantageous.
* A degree and MCIPS qualification is preferred.
