Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic talent agent to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for talent, exceptional organisational skills, and a passion for diversity and representation in the commercial industry.
This role involves managing client relationships, securing bookings, and nurturing the careers of Gingersnap talent.
Key Responsibilities: Talent Management: Identify and recruit commercial actors and talent.
Maintain strong relationships with existing talent, providing guidance and career development support.
Ensure all talent profiles are up-to-date with portfolios, spotlight profiles and showreels.
Client Liaison: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients including photographers, designers, casting directors, and producers.
Understand client needs and match them with appropriate talent.
Negotiate contracts and manage bookings, ensuring favourable terms for both talent and clients.
Booking Coordination: Coordinate all aspects of bookings, including schedules, travel arrangements, and accommodation.
Handle last-minute changes or cancellations with efficiency and professionalism.
Ensure all bookings are conducted in accordance with industry standards and legal requirements.
Industry Networking: Attend industry events and casting calls to scout new talent and build industry connections.
Stay informed about current trends in fashion, entertainment, and representation to ensure the agency remains competitive and inclusive.
Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate records of bookings and contracts Prepare reports on booking activities, client feedback, and talent performance.
Qualifications: Proven experience as an acting, talent or casting agent or similar role in a talent agency or related field.
Strong knowledge of the modelling, acting and commercial creative industry with a focus on diversity and inclusion.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in using talent booking software and CRM systems.
A keen eye for detail and a passion for discovering new talent.
Preferred Skills: Familiarity with legal aspects of talent contracts.
Experience working with diverse groups of people, including those from underrepresented communities.
Creative problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
