Management/Financial Accountant - Part time or Full time

Kyloe is a dynamic software company operating in the staffing/recruitment sector, offering innovative solutions directly to clients using the Bullhorn CRM platform. We're seeking a Management/Financial Accountant to join our team and play an important role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial information.
As a Management/Financial Accountant, you'll be based in our head office in Kirkwall, working with our three trading entities in the UK, US, and Australia.
Applications from people looking to work 24-40 hours per week will be welcomed with some flexibility to work from home for part of the week if required.
Responsibilities:
1. Monthly management accounts preparation
2. Cost analysis and reporting
3. Fixed asset reporting
4. Tax and Other Compliance tasks across our three trading entities
5. Preparation of year-end financial information
6. Assistance with budget preparation and reporting
7. Collaboration on various finance initiatives
You will have:
1. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards and proven experience in management and financial accounting. Minimum part qualified.
2. Proficiency in cloud-based accounting software (Xero preferred) and MS Office, particularly Excel, and experience of reporting tools.
3. Experience of working in a multi-currency organisation, intercompany transactions and consolidation accounting would be helpful but not essential.
4. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
5. Ability to prioritise tasks and understand materiality.
6. Curiosity and interest in technology.
7. Ability to communicate financial matters confidently and clearly with all types of people.
8. Interest in developing both technical and personal skills.
