Production Technician
Salary: A GBP 24,960 : A GBP 29,120 per annum
Location:West Yorkshire : full driving licence beneficial

WHO YOU ARE
As a technician youll be responsible for service delivery at any of our work locations. Working as part of a team under the guidance of a production leader, youll be working to agreed practices, standards and scopes of work. Safe, Effective and Ethical operational production is the core of our business and you will be assisting with delivery and flow of operations, limiting downtime, communicating with colleagues and supervisors and managing your own materials and equipment.

We provide training, uniform, equipment, PPE and support to assist you to do the best work possible. A construction background is desirable and skills such as bricklaying, plastering, rendering, joinery, painting and driving or ability to use plant machinery will be an advantage and you should highlight these when applying.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Works job sites to ensure standardization and positive marketing of the company.
* Works to meet assigned hours and costs on projects.
* Informs crew leader of material requirements, shortages or defects.
* Gives crew leader daily updates on progress and attends all site meetings as necessary.
* Flexible approach to work from conflicting schedules, urgent requirements, material shortages, change orders,leave, sickness and weather delays.
* Covering for absence of other technicians and crew leaders when necessary.
* Ensures all sites secure out of working hours.
* Reports any sickness or absence to production leader/line manager
* Attending monthly meetings to report on job progress, provide feedback and give input on company issues.
REQUIREMENTS
* Able to stand/walk for extended periods of time.
* Continually able to manage an environment with hazards present: dust, noise, electricity, slips, trips and falls.
* Continually able to reach overhead, bend, squat and kneel.
* Continually able to maintain a safe environment using procedures and practices and PPE where necessary.
* Able to operate a range of powered tools safely and effectively
* Able to regularly perform site maintenance: sweep, vacuum, remove waste, clean.
* Able to safely lift items using body kinetics or equipment where necessary.
* Comfortable climbing ladders, scaffolds and working at height using access equipment.
* Driving licence will be beneficial.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
* Cooperates with all team members and assists in onboarding new employees where necessary.
* Follows and adheres to all operational policies and is vigilant of any changes.
* Welcomes input and evolves operations for the betterment of the company..
* Adept with computer systems for recording of materials, equipment and time keeping.
* Proactively works to bring in projects safely and within assigned employee hours and materials budget.
* Provides feedback, improvement opportunities and details to crew leaders when schedules and budgets arent met or exceeded.
* Fills in all timesheets as required for payroll processing.
* Manages and maintains equipment and stock using recording systems as prescribed.
* Informs crew leader of media opportunities for marketing or communication.
* Reports all accidents and near misses and provides feedback and training for learning opportunities.
* Acts on lessons learned from accidents and near miss investigations.
* Attends company training as required to ensure continuous professional development
SCHEDULE
We aim to operate all weekdays
