My client, a well established main contractor across Commercial builds, is looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to join them on a permanent basis, covering projects in and around the South West of England. Experience in delivering Commercial New Builds, Refurbishments and Restoration, and Design & Build is essential.
Contracts Manager Responsibilities:
* Preparing tenders for clients and commercial bids to help bring in new business
* Developing and presenting project proposals
* Meeting with clients to find out their requirements
* Producing plans and estimating budgets and timescales
* Agreeing to and managing budgets and timescales
* Attending site meetings to monitor progress
* Acting as the main point of contact for clients, site and project managers
* Making sure construction projects meet agreed technical standards
* Liaising with technical and financial staff, sub-contractors, legal teams
* Ensuring all sites are following Health & Safety best practice and procedures
Contracts Manager Requirements:
* Proven track record as a Contracts Manager covering Commercial builds
* Ability to manage several sites at once
* Good understanding of the full construction process from pre-planning to completion
* Excellent communication skills and strong leadership skills
* Up to date with Health and Safety best practice and regulations as well as quality control processes
