We are recruiting for a senior paralegal to join our Real Estate Services team in Bristol.
This is an exciting opportunity to join us and one of the foremost Real Estate groups in the UK with over 250 staff. You will work on commercial and residential portfolios (estate management, acquisitions, and disposals), title due diligence and projects.
Your Role
Your day-to-day remit includes:
* Freehold and leasehold acquisitions, disposals, and other estate management work for commercial real estate clients e.g., leases, licences to assign, lease renewals.
* Freehold and leasehold residential purchases for housing associations, developers and others.
* Project work e.g., large-scale due diligence for refinancing, portfolio acquisitions and disposals, lease reports.
* Provide all our clients with a high-quality service in accordance with the Firm’s procedures.
* Maintain and improve relations with existing clients and spot opportunities for business development and enhancement of the current services we offer.
* Achieve the budget and targets set by the Firm.
Your Skills and Experience
* The role would suit an experienced paralegal.
* Commercial property experience is essential.
* Strong file management skills communication, drafting skills and billing; working with case management systems.
* Good IT skills, good eye for detail and ability to juggle a busy and varied workload.
* Excellent communication skills - high volume of interaction via the telephone; high standards of client service essential.
* Enthusiastic & team approach to working.
* A desire to learn and develop legal skills in the area of development, housing and commercial property, what TLT does and what our clients do/how they work.
Your Team
The Real Estate Services team works with a range of clients, working across a number of our focus sectors, such as Future Energy, Retail and Consumer Goods, Leisure, Food & Drink and the Public sector. The team has a group of lawyers working on a variety of commercial and property matters and a group of administrators supporting the team and the wider Real Estate group on all services associated with the Land Registry, searches through InfoTrack and other providers, SDLT returns and other aspects of administrative property work.
