Our local authority client based in South East England are urgently seeking an experienced Tenancy Management Officer. £24.91 an hour PAYE Hybrid working Summary of the Role It is essential that the Tenancy Management Officer effectively engages with our communities, supports effective community empowerment, promotes our membership and acts as an ambassador for the Gateway model. The Tenancy Management Officer will be responsible for supporting the Tenancy Management Team Leader to efficiently and effectively deliver the Tenancy Management Service by support, advice and assistance to residents investigating and challenging acts of ASB, neighbour nuisance and harassment, resolving environmental incidents, enforcing Tenancy Agreements through the provision of help and support where effective and taking enforcement action when required. To be a supportive, active and effective member of the team contributing to the delivery of corporate and strategic objectives, ensuring that we have a positive reputation and local impact. Key Responsibilities To pro-actively investigate reported cases of breaches of tenancy, ASB, neighbour nuisance and harassment, taking appropriate action within the target timescales to challenge such activity. Enforce Tenancy Conditions, through consistent and wide ranging enforcement actions, providing relevant support and advice to those tenants who require it. Carry out a range of Inspections of properties to vulnerable tenants to ensure properties are maintained to acceptable standard and verify identification of tenants. Deal quickly and appropriately with all reports of abandoned vehicles. Provide support to tenants, victims and witnesses, referring to the Outreach Manager as appropriate and where necessary signposting to appropriate services/interventions and co-ordinating multi-agency responses to support tenancy sustainability.
