As a Live In Care Assistant you have the unique privilege of being accepted into someone’s home and been able to provide one to one personalised care to your client.
We are looking for a Live-in Care Assistant to support a male client of ours living at home with his wife.
Location: Beverley, a beautiful market town, known for historic buildings including the Beverley Minister and home to over 400 acres of greenery known as the Beverley Westwood. Beverley has a vibrant high-street with a variety of shops, cafe's and restaurants making running errands for your client both easy and enjoyable.
Shift pattern: 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off
Salary: £840 per working week
Start Date: 2nd December 2024
Placement requirements: A valid UK driving licence, a car is not essential as the clients have a car for you to use whilst on placement. A non-smoker.
The Role: To provide practical assistance and support to the gentleman with his daily routine. Having suffered with a couple of mini strokes, although unsteady on his feet the client wishes to remain as independent as possible.
1. Support the clients wife to carry out household tasks such as tidying, light cleaning and the laundry.
2. Offer support to the clients wife in meal planning, keeping the fridge clean and tidy and cooking their meals.
3. Support the client with personal care
4. Support the client to take his medication
5. Run errands
6. Take the couple on outings when required.
Your accommodation: A beautiful large georgian house, five minutes walk from Beverley Town Centre. You will have your own bedroom and bathroom with access to WIFI.
