Building Surveyor
Location - North Yorkshire or West Yorkshire (with hybrid working - 2 days WFH)
A Building Surveyor is required to join a Building and Design Consultancy in North or West Yorkshire. The company are one of the largest multi-discipline building design consultancies in the North of England with a consistent stream of workflow. They offer a broad range of services in Building Surveying, Civil & Structural, Highways and Drainage Engineering and more.
Building Surveyor Benefits:
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 (Depends on experience)
Permanent role - 40 Hours Per Week

Building Surveyor The role:
Provide a variety of services, including those relating to building pathology, design, building surveys and contract administration
Work autonomously to produce plans, sections and detail drawings for construction using the latest technology
Produce, submit and manage planning, building regulation and listed building applications
Play an essential part of a busy and professional team, providing the best and most cost-effective solutions for the client's varied property portfolio
Work successfully within a highly competitive market, demonstrating strong and efficient performance capabilities, with a focus on service excellence and client satisfaction
Visit sites to attend meetings, carry out inspections and surveys when required
Building Surveyor Requirements:
Hold an RICS accredited Building Surveying degree with significant post degree experience of working as a Building Surveyor
Member of RICS or ideally working towards full membership via the APC pathway
Have the ability to produce plans, sections and detailed drawings, specifications, schedules of works and other documents to high standards in conjunction with internal and external design disciplines
Able to carry out project design and complete H&S risk assessments to meet current CDM regulation requirements
Proficient user of Microsoft Office Suit, Autodesk, AutoCAD and NBS Software
A full UK driving license and ability to travel when required
