What skills and experience we're looking for
The Governors at Greystones Primary School are looking to appoint a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our Key Stage 1 team.
This position will involve working primarily within Year 1 and Year 2, and will include general classroom support as well as some time working 1:1 to support children to access their mainstream provision.
The successful candidate will:
• Enjoy working with children
• Have experience supporting children with social communication or other needs
• Support groups of children and / or individual children both in class and out of class where appropriate
• Feel motivated to work with pupils with a range of strengths and needs to ensure the best outcomes for every child
• Have a role supervising children during some playtimes and lunchtimes to ensure positive social experiences at school
• Be an excellent team-player and good communicator
