Due to significant growth, T&K Associates have an excellent opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join our Client on a Part Time Permanent basis.
You would be expected to be experienced within data inputting, raising sales ledger invoices, purchasing data entry & general finance department administration tasks.
We are looking for someone who has a keen eye for detail and is accurate, numerate, experience with payroll would be advantageous and most of all a passion for accounts.
Part time 16 hours and must be able to work Thursday and Friday.
This is an office based permanent position and must have own transport due to location.
Accounts Assistant Details:
Salary of up to £10,800 per annum
Monday to Friday
28 days holiday (including bank holidays) Pro Rata
Holidays increase after 2 years service

Accounts Assistant Job Duties:
Deals promptly with incoming and outgoing post
Prints off e-mailed invoices and distributes to authorising manager
Inputs purchase ledger invoices for the company and files purchase ledger invoices
Raises sales ledger invoices, scans and sends same on a weekly basis
Checks and maintains stationery stocks, places order and ties up delivery notes and invoices for same
Scans remittances and sends to suppliers
Takes phone calls, transferring callers to relevant person/department
Reconciles Purchase Ledger statements, Sales Ledger receipt allocation and Sales Ledger credits
Carries out initial credit control duties
Raises the following reports: Sales Ledger credit reports, Debt reports and deals with queries in connection with both ledgers
All other general administration and filing duties
Accounts Assistant Person Specification:
High degree of numeracy
Good IT skills
Ability to work accurately eye for detail
AAT or previous accounts experience advantageous
Good communication skills & tenacity
Great work ethic
