An established hotel in Glasgow is currently seeking an experienced Head Housekeeper to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional with a strong background in hotel housekeeping operations to lead and manage a dedicated team in a high-quality, customer-focused environment.
Key Details:
* Salary: Up to 30,000 per year
* Location: Glasgow
* Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Key Responsibilities:
* Leading and managing the housekeeping team to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the hotel.
* Overseeing daily housekeeping operations, including room inspections and stock control.
* Developing and implementing cleaning procedures and ensuring they are consistently followed.
* Training, mentoring, and motivating staff to maintain high standards of work and performance.
* Managing and ordering housekeeping supplies and ensuring cost control.
* Collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth hotel operations and excellent guest experiences.
* Ensuring health, safety, and hygiene standards are strictly adhered to.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a Head Housekeeper role or similar, ideally within a hotel environment.
* Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
* Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
* Good organizational and time-management skills.
* Ability to work efficiently and calmly under pressure.
