Job summary York Hospital Pharmacy department are looking to recruit a well motivated, forward-thinking professional to join our friendly team. You will need to have excellent communication skills and enjoy working as part of a large multi-disciplinary team. You will need to hold a recognised Pharmacy Technician qualification (BTEC in Pharmaceutical Sciences, NVQ level 3 or equivalent) and be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council. We are recruiting Pharmacy Technicians ideally with hospital experience, but welcome applications from community technicians. If successful you would start as a band 4, working your way up to band 5 within 12 months A full induction and training will be provided to the successful candidate Core service hours are Monday to Friday 08:45 - 17:15 and you will contribute to the weekend rota (roughly 1 in 8) and bank holiday rota (roughly 1 per year).
