Personal Injury Solicitor / CILEx Lawyer - Leeds, West Yorkshire

About the Role:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Personal Injury Solicitor or CILEx Lawyer to join a dedicated team in Leeds city centre. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a caseload of personal injury claims, including defective equipment, training injuries, cold injuries, assaults, discrimination, AFCS claims, and noise-induced hearing loss claims.
As part of a friendly and professional team, you will be responsible for running client matters under supervision, ensuring high standards of client care, and handling cases at all stages-from initial instructions to case resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a caseload of military personal injury matters under supervision.
* Provide expert advice and guidance on military claims, including AFCS claims and training injuries.
* Communicate effectively with clients and other parties, ensuring clear and concise legal advice.
* Prepare case documentation, manage files, and handle billing and payments.
* Ensure that cases progress efficiently, meeting deadlines and maintaining client satisfaction.
* Support other fee earners within the Personal Injury department.
Key Skills and Attributes:
* Experience: 3 to 5 years' PQE, preferably with experience in military claims.
* Qualifications: Current Practising Certificate for qualified solicitors (or equivalent for CILEx lawyers).
* Client Care: Strong focus on providing friendly and professional client service.
* Communication: Ability to explain complex legal issues in a clear, client-friendly manner, both orally and in writing.
* Attention to Detail: Accurate in handling legal documentation and adhering to procedures.
* Organisation: Excellent time management and prioritisation skills to meet deadlines.
* IT Skills: Proficient with legal software and systems.
* Adaptability: Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team, with a proactive 'can-do' attitude.
