Professional Learning Services has created a customer centred approach to ensure all our customer needs are met to ensure we maintain strong relationships and effective customer engagement. The administration team are the point of contact for all our customers relating to the range of Professional Learning Services products and services we can offer to external organisations and professionals. The post holder is responsible for the continuing success of this service dedicated to providing the most effective administrative support to meet customer needs.
As an administrator you will work as part of a team providing an efficient, effective and well-informed response to customers who are attending our training courses or who have commissioned the NSPCC to provide training and/or consultancy to their organisation. You will work closely with colleagues throughout Professional Learning Services to ensure an appropriate and timely follow up to requests and be responsible for coordinating external training courses and consultancy work across all nations. You will be required to carry out accurate administration of internal and external events and projects, dealing with competing and last-minute demands whilst ensuring that all tasks are completed within timescales and to deadlines. You will need to be experienced in administrative tasks, including reprographics, amending training materials, PowerPoint presentations, preparing associate and organisational contracts, record keeping, and handling correspondence, ensuring a high attention to detail with content and financials.
We are looking for individuals who are:
1. Highly organised with high levels of accuracy and strong attention to detail, with a proven ability to provide an effective support service.
2. Have experience of Microsoft Office packages including Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Skills at a suitable level to produce documents.
3. Evidence of strong and effective communication skills and competent written skills demonstrating a high professionalism and accuracy.
4. Having customer service experience within an administrative environment and having the commitment to provide clear advice and give accurate information whilst continuously looking at ways to improve service standards.
5. Evidence of ability to be a team player, to be flexible, co-operative, supportive, able to share work and contribute to the team's goals.
6. Self-motivated and able to prioritise and work under pressure on multiple tasks to meet agreed deadlines, managing own workload.
