We invite applications from Biomedical Scientists for an opportunity as an Advanced Biomedical Scientist in Haematology.
This post presents a development opportunity for an experienced BMS to take on a supervisory role as an Advanced Biomedical Scientist, providing support and leadership to the Haematology team within Golden Jubilee. The successful candidate will share the role with the existing Advanced BMS Haematology Lead to support the team over the next 12 months as the Laboratory service expands with the opening of phase 2, and work within the team of Laboratory Leads with direct responsibility to the Head of Laboratories.
As a minimum, applicants should be Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registered as a Biomedical Scientist, possess an MSc in Biomedical Science/Higher Specialist Diploma/or equivalent qualification in a suitable subject. The successful candidate will be expected to have extensive experience in a BMS role and within NHS GJ Haematology. They should be able to demonstrate strong leadership qualities and communication skills with clinicians and staff from across the hospital services.
