As an Offshore Manager you will represent Project Execution Department and liaise with Clients, Contractors and Subcontractor representatives as well as Vessel Master. You will brief the client on the operational capability and limitations.
You will manage all activities related to the Scope of Work, including mobilisation and demobilisation, handle operations and emergency situations onboard, other than Marine emergencies. Such responsibility commands a degree of authority, and you will have the authority to ensure that personnel under your control are working within constraints and towards the objectives of the Company.
You will ensure project safety meetings are held regularly, safety reporting is carried out and all personnel involved in operation are carrying out their appointed tasks. You will ensure that all equipment and spares are in a satisfactory condition and being maintained as such to ensure efficient operations. This extends to reviewing the number of spares held for the forthcoming operations considering region of operation, duration of project etc. You will ensure daily worksite report is issued and the content of report reflects reporting requirements and operational procedures. You will review Project HIRA’s and RA’s.
You will keep accurate records, prepare formal procedures, explain and delegate operational tasks to team and ship’s crew members. You will also evaluate performance of crew and use Appraisal and Competence Scheme as required.

Requirements
1. Degree level or equivalent Electrical/Mechanical or relevant discipline (desirable)
2. Supervisor certification
3. Experience in Subsea Operations
4. Demonstrable experience in Offshore Supervisory position within the Subsea or Offshore environment is essential
5. Working Knowledge of Oil and Gas Industry Technical Specifications and Standards
6. Detailed knowledge of subsea operations using divers and/or ROV’s
7. Proficient in Microsoft Packages - Word/Excel/PowerPoint and Document Control Systems
8. Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
9. Excellent communicator, written and oral skills
10. Able to demonstrate an enthusiastic approach to resolving problems with a pleasant and articulate manner
11. Capable of discussing issues and topics of importance at Senior Management Level
12. Good organisational skills
