Job Title: Site Manager Project: New Build Nursing Home Location: London Area Salary: Negotiable DOE A leading construction firm with a diverse portfolio of projects is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the construction of a new build nursing home. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and play a key role in delivering a high-quality project. The Role: Reporting to senior management, the Site Manager will be responsible for overseeing site operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. Key Responsibilities: Manage and supervise direct labour and subcontractors, ensuring work progresses according to plans. Assist in implementing systems to monitor project progress against time, quality, and cost. Oversee workmanship and materials testing, including drainage, concrete, piling, and brickwork. Provide technical and engineering support, resolving site-related queries effectively. Ensure all setting-out works are accurate and within allowable tolerances. Regularly check benchmarks, setting-out points, and measuring instruments, ensuring proper calibration. Maintain strict health and safety standards, ensuring compliance with all regulations. Supervise and coordinate temporary works as required. Implement a testing and inspection regime for all site works. Liaise with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders, ensuring smooth coordination. Monitor and manage the commercial performance of the project, working closely with the commercial team. Requirements: Proven experience in site supervision and managing construction teams. Strong ability to build effective working relationships with the project team and subcontractors. Knowledge of contract requirements, technical specifications, and construction standards. Excellent communication and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks. Full manual driving licence. Relevant degree or site management qualifications. Valid CSR card. First aid certificate (preferred).
