The Procurement team is at the forefront of delivering Vertice’s core service offering, which involves negotiating SaaS contracts on behalf of our customers. You will represent their views within the Customer Operations team, and prioritize process improvements, training or other change initiatives to ensure they can deliver effectively and efficiently for all customers. Responsibilities Act as a strategic Operations partner for the Procurement team, suggesting proactive improvements to our processes that impact service delivery Work with our Data team to deliver process improvements through systems and automation: ensuring that any changes in ways-of-working are well documented and communicated Assign Customer Success Managers and Procurement Managers to accounts, optimizing delivery teams for the best commercial outcomes Support the Procurement Leaders to design performance metrics that help drive standards across their teams Stay close to the Procurement team to represent their views with the wider business including the Ops, Customer Success, Sales and Product teams Work on numerous other varied exciting and cross-functional projects About you 6 years of experience either in consulting, high-growth startups or similar, potentially within a RevOps function. The ideal candidate will excel in analyzing complex concepts, identifying root causes swiftly, and devising scalable solutions. Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets and other data-driven tools is a must, along with exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated success in achieving results collaboratively across diverse teams, managing competing priorities, and ensuring accountability is crucial. Attention to detail and a motivation to deliver high-quality work. Some knowledge of Procurement, or Service Delivery in SaaS is a bonus, but not mandatory. Why join Vertice?
