Job summary
To provide evidence based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy assessment and treatment to children, young people (CYP) and their families who have complex mental health difficulties.
To work autonomously within professional guidelines and within the overall framework of the Trust policies and procedures.
To be part of the RISE multi-disciplinary team delivering specialist interventions and provide expert clinical advice in MDT discussion.
To carry a CBT caseload and co-ordinate care for those children, young people and families on their caseload.
Main duties of the job

7. Relevant professional registration as Registered Mental Health Nurse, Allied Health Professional or Social Worker
Knowledge and Skills

8. Skilled to provide CBT assessment, formulation and individual/group intervention for children young people and families who have complex mental health problems.
9. Ability to use a variety of psychometric questionnaires and routine outcome measures in clinical meaningful ways to inform practice.
10. Specialist knowledge of the range of young people's mental health problems and mental health services including risk assessment and management.
11. Knowledge of legislative frameworks and recent guideline in child and adolescent mental health service provision.
12. Ability to deliver evidence- based assessment, formulation and interventions.
