Are you a talented finance professional experienced in Accounts Receivable or Collections? Are you able to speak Dutch? We are now looking to add to our Global Finance team in the UK with a dedicatedCollections Specialist.
As part of our European Collections Team you will be working with our customer base in the UK and Benelux regions requesting payment on past due invoices.
The role is based from our UK Corporate Head Office in Lincoln, where we operate a hybrid working environment split between home and office across the working week.
Responsibilities include:
* Review/cleanup of unapplied cash.
* Responds to customer inquiries relating to account issues and reconciles customer accounts and disputes.
* Monthly review of customers with old outstanding balances.
* Works closely with in house Legal counsel and 3rd Party collection agencies to collect on delinquent accounts.
* Communicate with Sales, Billing, and Cash Applications regarding collection and customer account related issues.
* Answer incoming customer calls and emails
* Provide monthly commentary with Business Unit Leaders
We’re looking for someone who has:
* The ability to speak Dutch to communicate fluently with our customers in the Netherlands.
* Prior collections experience (Ideal Candidates are those with B2B Collections Experience).
* Experience of recording information regarding collection efforts.
* Commitment to producing accurate and high-quality work
* System knowledge/experience of NetSuite and SalesForce is desirable.
* Demonstrates high level competency in using MS Excel.
* Strong work ethic and demonstrates persistence in overcoming obstacles, as it relates to Customer relations.
* Strong personal organization, communication and management skills.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - both written and verbal.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to speak Dutch is an advantage.
This role plays a vital part in month-end and year-end accounting processes as such additional evening and weekend working hours during these times may be required.
The successful applicant must also be able to demonstrate their right to work in the UK.
