Role Summary:
We are currently seeking a skilled BMS Engineer to join our team and contribute to our high-profile projects. This role involves a mix of PLC and DDC work, primarily using Siemens Desigo systems, and will focus on the design, documentation, implementation, and commissioning of Building Management Systems.
Key Responsibilities:
1. System Design: Develop detailed design specifications for BMS that align with client requirements and industry standards.
2. Technical Documentation: Prepare thorough engineering documentation, including system architecture diagrams, wiring schematics, and panel layouts.
3. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, electrical engineers, and software developers, to ensure the smooth integration of BMS solutions into larger projects.
4. Testing and Commissioning: Conduct comprehensive testing and commissioning of BMS installations to confirm optimal performance and functionality.
5. Client Interaction: Engage with clients to understand their needs, provide technical support, and propose enhancements to improve their building automation systems.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience in BMS design, implementation, and commissioning.
2. Strong proficiency in BMS software tools and programming languages.
3. Excellent understanding of energy efficiency principles, including solar technology.
4. Familiarity with rail industry standards and regulations.
5. Professional certifications in BMS or related fields are advantageous.
