Grafton Banks Finance is seeking an Assistant Accountant for a growing commercial business in Folkestone.
This full-time position reports to the Group Finance Director and involves supporting the company's accounting operations.
Key duties include:
1. Daily/weekly bank reconciliation
2. Processing supplier invoices
3. Monthly reconciliations
4. Preparing suggested supplier payments
5. Reconciling cash-ups
6. Posting sales journals
7. Checking employee expense claims
8. Assisting with payroll
9. Conducting weekly flash reporting
10. Balance sheet reconciliations
11. Supporting cashflows, budgets, and statutory requirements
Minimum Requirements:
Candidates should have experience in finance, particularly in Purchase Ledger, and possess strong IT skills, especially in Microsoft Excel.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask under pressure are essential.
