As a Credit Control Team Leader (10 month FTC) within our Credit Management team within FCoE (Finance Centre of Excellence), you will help to secure the largest asset, the debtor asset within Greene King. The team supports the trading divisions of Greene King in sales ledger activity and all cash collection matters, providing world-class credit management to all our customers and stakeholders.

Location: Bury St Edmunds
Your role as Credit Control Team Leader
This role manages a team of 7 credit management team members covering the Greene King divisions of Brewing and Brands.
Driving a strong performance culture and delivering synergies across the team, with one being in England and the other in Scotland. You will need to provide appropriate support and visits to the team in Belhaven, Scotland.
Developing a strong customer service ethos and excellent relationships with internal and external customers is essential. The role requires great leadership skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a changing environment that requires you to meet deadlines/targets, as well as support the growth of your direct reports.
Your role as a Credit Control Team Leader will include...
* Overseeing the Sales Ledger for the Brewing & Brands division.
* Supporting the development and management of a team of 7.
* Managing the collection of payments & release of beer orders.
* Administering our Sidetrade Credit Management platform.
* Providing support to colleagues during periods of leave and absence.
* Arranging the release of orders within scheduled timeframes.
* Supervising actions taken dealing with disputed invoices.
* Managing escalations made by the team.
* Reviewing team communication and email queries.
* Creating an environment of excellent relationships with customers and peers.
* Managing teams in England and Scotland.
* Ensuring manual invoicing is resourced and adhering to SLA.
* Managing recruitment requirements.
* Creating a world-class credit management function.
* Occasional support of the Period End Close process.
* Creation of reports that support the functioning of the team.
* Providing information to support Audit requests.
* Supporting the team in maintaining process documentation.
You will need to ideally have...
* CICM (Chartered Institute of Credit Management) ideally.
* Relevant Credit Management learning.
