Job Description
Key responsibilities of the Finance Manager include:
* Leading the finance function and serving as a key member of the site leadership team.
* Preparing and reporting financial data on a weekly and monthly basis, including payroll.
* Managing budgets, overseeing strategic financial development, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and group policies.
* Monitoring gross margins, cash flow, inventory, and working capital to optimise efficiency.
* Supporting cost control, lean principles, and systems development to enhance site operations.
* Managing the annual audit process and liaising with auditors.
* Providing leadership to the finance team and contributing to the site's overall growth strategy.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with strong business acumen, analytical skills, and a proven ability to manage financial operations and teams effectively. They will have excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, a proactive and disciplined approach to compliance and controls, and experience in driving strategic and commercial initiatives. While manufacturing experience is desirable, the key attributes include exceptional problem-solving abilities, IT proficiency, and a commitment to fostering efficiency and growth.
