A little more about your role… As a leader in advisory assessments for Power Generation, you will collaborate with the operations and maintenance team to guide owners and investors in making critical decisions throughout the lifecycle of their assets. Your focus will be on electrical assets, working closely with equipment vendors to ensure their optimal condition. You will collaborate with the team to: Lead & develop cost-effective, innovative solutions to complex problems. Deliver projects across various lifecycle stages: Concept, Development, Construction, Commissioning, Operation, Life-Extension, and Retirement. Independently assess the condition and configuration of electrical assets, including transformers, generators, motors, cabling, and switchgear. From your practical experience, advise on: Asset Management (ISO 55000). Asset-related contracts (Construction, Operations and Maintenance, Connection, Long Term Service Support). Plant performance and issues causing failure or degradation. Policies, procedures, and practices for safe, sustainable, and economic operation of power generation assets. Develop proposals and bids for the Asset Advisory Group and contribute to multi-disciplinary proposals. Your Team Our team’s expertise spans all Energy Transition generation and conversion technologies, including novel, first-of-a-kind concepts and other low or zero carbon technology. We work with private developers, power utilities, government bodies, banks, lending agencies, contractors, and OEMs to safely deliver projects that exceed client expectations. Our teams are strategically located in the UK, India, Ireland, and wider Europe, collaborating internationally with clients and other Energy sector teams in North America, the Middle East, Africa, South America, Asia, New Zealand, and Australia. What we will be looking for you to demonstrate… Degree in a relevant Engineering subject with significant post-graduate experience (minimum 10 years) in engineering consultancy, project development, operation, and maintenance. Chartered Engineer and member of a relevant Engineering Institute. Ability and desire to lead asset assessments under development, construction, or operation. Knowledge of asset management and power and energy project operations. Proven understanding of commissioning, operation, maintenance, and testing of medium and high voltage equipment and systems.
