Job summary The Nobles Hospital Paediatric Department is a small but dynamic and forward thinking unit. There is a 17 bed Paediatric ward with 2 dedicated HDU beds and a 9 cots newly built state of the art Neonatal Unit meeting all BAPM standards. We are a designated level 2 unit within the Merseyside/North West Network. Main duties of the job The Consultant Paediatrician will be responsible for the immediate management and oversight of all patients admitted during the on-call day. This post aims to support improved direct Consultant supervised and delivered care on a day to day basis (In line with RCPCH Acute Care Standards) and continuity and efficiency of care on an annual basis.
