Service Charge Accountant £30k- £35k Hybrid working (3 days home, 2 days in office)Bournemouth The role: This role will be working across a large portfolio of residential blocks preparing year end service charge accounts. Duties: Preparation and reconciling of year end service charge accounts ready to go to external accountants for sign off Assisting property managers in preparation of service charge budgets and implementing into the property management system Qube Applying tenant recharges in accordance with the apportionments as per in the lease Raising demands and issuing to leaseholders Transferring Ground Rent monies collected to freeholders/landlords Checking expenditure against budgets throughout year, monitoring cash flow Ensuring correct management fees are billed in a timely manner Overseeing, including multiple monthly bank account reconciliations Processing outgoing property reports, handing over information and funds Answering queries from Leaseholders, Suppliers and the internal team such as Property Managers/PA’setc. via email or MS Teams Month End reporting Ad hoc projects within the Accounts team Requirements: Previous experience working in a similar Service Charge Accounting role highly desirable. Previous use of a property management system such as Yardi, MRI or Qube Good written and oral communication skills.
