Full Job Description: As a Commercial Refrigeration Maintenance Engineer with our client, you will be based at their site in the CH areas, performing planned service works, reactive maintenance, and leak testing on a variety of equipment, including chilled and frozen storage, air handling units, cooling tunnels, ice machines, and air conditioning systems.
Responsibilities & Activities:
1. Planned service and repair of small to medium commercial refrigeration systems.
2. Carrying out leak testing and repairs under the F-gas regulations.
3. Reactive maintenance on equipment, including electrical fault finding and repairs.
4. Based at the client's site in the North Wales and CH areas.
Requirements:
1. Proven refrigeration service and maintenance experience on medium commercial refrigeration systems.
2. Experience working on larger refrigeration systems, ice machines, air conditioning systems, and retrofitting old systems.
3. Experience and qualifications for working on electrical circuits and fault finding.
4. NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds equivalent in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
5. F-Gas 2079 - Cat1.
6. Based within a commutable distance to the client's site near Flint, Wrexham, Wirral.
Salary and Package: Our client offers a competitive basic salary ranging from £40,000 to £45,000 per year, depending on experience. This position does not require participation in a call-out rota or extensive overtime, making it ideal for an experienced engineer seeking a good work-life balance.
