Work Based Assessor – Electronic, Fire and Security Systems
35 hours per week

£36, per annum

Qualified to SVQ level 3 in Electronic Fire & Security Systems and possessing 5 year, post qualification, relevant Industrial experience in the fire and security industry, you will support, assess and verify candidates undertaking SVQ’s at SCQF Level 6 in Electronic Fire and Security Systems Sector. You will be in possession of (or willing to work towards) a relevant formal Assessor qualification relating to the gathering of evidence of learner attainment in a range of work settings. You will be conversant with computerised systems of recording learners’ work and you will liaise with employers to ensure work experience meets Awarding Body Requirements.
Recent industrial experience in Electronic Fire & Security Systems Sector and knowledge of the relevant National Occupational Standards system is essential for this post, as is the ability to work to strict deadlines. Successful applicants will have good interpersonal skills, as they will be the main liaison between the College and Employers. A clean driving licence is essential as site visits will be required.
