About the Role
Are you a creative Chef with a passion for experimenting in the kitchen?
We are seeking a new Production Chef to join our team. You will play an essential role in creating and cooking high-quality products using the finest ingredients, whilst ensuring food safety compliance. Key duties include recipe preparation, supporting New Product Development (NPD) trials, managing production transitions, and maintaining consistency in product quality.

Key Responsibilities
1. Prepare and cook Karimix products in line with company standards and procedures.
2. Complete and maintain all required documentation to ensure food safety compliance, including HACCP.
3. Identify and resolve ingredient or recipe-related challenges.
4. Organise and deliver New Product Development (NPD) trials and projects.
5. Prepare product samples for customers when required.
6. Facilitate the transition of new kitchen recipes to factory-scale production.
7. Develop and document clear recipe instructions for the Production team.
8. Keep up to date with market research and competitor offerings to identify trends and opportunities.
9. Collaborate with the Production Manager to keep new products aligned with brand standards and market demands.
10. Support the Production team when needed.
Skills and Experience
1. Minimum 2 years experience as a Chef in the food production industry.
2. Creative mindset with a passion for innovation and product development.
3. Excellent communication, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
4. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
5. High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality.
6. Adaptable and quick learner with a solid understanding of process procedures.
7. Ability to work in a fast-paced and moving environment.
8. Strong organisational and coordination skills.
9. Comprehensive knowledge of relevant safety and quality standards and procedures including Food Safety.
Salary: c.£13.00 per hour (depending on skills and experience)
Hours: Part Time, fixed term 12-month contract, ideally 2 / 3 days per week.
Location: Based onsite at Faversham, Kent.
