JE139: Fleet Administrator
Location: Walsall
Salary: £25,000 Per Annum
Overview:
First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Fleet Administrator on behalf of one of our clients. Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel; however, all candidates will be given due consideration.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Process damage notifications in the system, recharging allocated drivers.
2. Raise workshop jobs within the system for damage costs.
3. Maintain the Motor Insurance Database (MID) ensuring that all new hires are added, and off hires are removed.
4. Maintain the DART (Dartford Charge) and TFL (Transport for London) accounts.
5. Process driver infringements, logging all infringements and closing out outstanding penalties.
6. Process driver transfers and vehicle off-hires within the hire system.
7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records related to the fleet, including vehicle registration insurance, maintenance logs, and service history.
8. Request fuel cards for all new long-term vehicles, coordinating delivery from supplier to regional contact or driver.
9. Manage the fuel card register, adding all new cards received, and removing cards for vehicles off hired.
10. Complete monthly commercial van fuel spend reports.
11. Complete monthly telemetry regional reports.
12. Contact suppliers for vehicle maintenance bookings.
13. Support Fleet Manager on working projects.
Skills and Qualifications:
Essential:
1. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel.
2. Good administrative and organisational skills.
3. Able to complete tasks and meet deadlines.
Desirable:
1. Experience working in a Hire, Transport or Fleet management team.
2. Product knowledge would be beneficial.
3. Commercial understanding.
