Fire Risk Assessor The main aim of this role is to support the Fire Safety Manager in continually improving the Fire Safety services for our clients. As a Fire Safety Consultant, you will conduct Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs) and other fire related products, liaise with clients to support them on fire safety incidents or technical queries and to meet their expectations and help manage / reduce their risks. Key Responsibilities Deliver Fire Risk Assessments across an agreed geographical patch, meeting agreed SLAs. On occasion, provide cover for other Fire Consultants in other geographical areas. Assist and monitor Fire QA to ensure that all FRAs are released from QA within KPIs. Ensure FRAs are uploaded timely and accurately within the team KPIs. Assist Fire QA with the formal responses to appeals and escalations. Provide support to the Safety Advice Line Team in office hours. Provide support on technical advice, and ongoing proactive and reactive advice for internal and external stakeholders through meetings, project work and regular reporting. Provide support to the Service Coordinators for monthly planning. Meeting the client specific requirements prior to conducting FRAs. Commitment to delivering fire products in a way that suits both internal and external expectations. Attend regular Fire Safety meetings. Support with the Apprenticeship Training Scheme. Deliver additional services to clients i.e., training, technical advice, occupancy / means of escape reviews etc. where necessary. Create action plans with your manager where FRA reports are not completed to the required standard. Support the Sales team with clear and concise communication for sales leads, provide product knowledge training and support in client meetings, where requested. Maintain personal competency, professional/technical development, accreditation, and professional registration. Skills & Experience Hold an IFE, IFSM or IFPO accreditation Level 3 qualification in Fire Risk Assessment or Level 3 in Fire Safety Management Minimum of 1 year within a consultancy environment or 2 years within the Fire Service Customer focused and commercially aware Excellent communication skills, with the drive, creativity and commitment to succeed. Experience in the validation / QA of Fire Risk Assessments (desirable, not essential) Professional approach Full valid UK driving license and flexibility to travel
