About The Role
HomeServe are currently Recruiting for a Content Creation Manager to join the Marketing Team in Walsall. We are looking for acreative storyteller with a passion for content creation, with a bias towards social media content and activation across owned channels. But not just storytelling, with an eye for design combined with the ability to create compelling content across various social media platforms.
You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and executing our content strategy across social media and owned channels to increase our online presence and improve our marketing and sales efforts - driving engagement, interaction, clicks, and organic visits to HomeServe.co.uk through increasing brand and category awareness.
Fundamental to the role will be the ability to build strong working relationships, integrating with a diverse range of disciplines across marketing including Brand, PR, Digital acquisition, and internal and external Comms teams, to create relevant, engaging, and impactful content to new and existing audiences.
The focus of the Customer Communications team is to deliver brilliant communications in line with the objectives of the brief developed by the Acquisition & Growth, and Customer Marketing teams, regardless of channel and product.
The team focusses on stand-out creative, agile working and utilising Marcomms technology combined with a strong level of governance and oversight to effectively manage risk and reduce incidents, delivering the best outcomes for both the customer and HomeServe.
The Customer Communications Department is made up of three areas:
* Brand - Creative, Content, PR & External Communications
* Campaign - Management & Production
* Marketing Governance & Risk - Overall Marketing oversight and risk management
Responsible for developing, implementing and executing HomeServes content strategy across social media and owned channels to increase our online presence and improve our marketing and sales efforts - driving engagement, interaction, clicks, and organic visits to HomeServe.co.uk through increasing brand and category awareness.
Key Responsibilities:
* Creation of engaging social and onsite content to promote brand stories across social media platforms (including Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and others).
* Create graphics, videos, and still image content that aligns with the brand voice and marketing goals.
* Use of various tools and software for content capture and creation, including image and video capturing and Adobe Creative Suite.
* Contribute to creative ideation, developing social themes and content that resonate with our audiences.
* Plan and schedule content in advance using social media management tools.
* Collaborate with internal studio to develop dynamic visual elements, such as motion graphics, animations, and retouched photography.
* Monitor social media channels for trends, feedback, and engagement opportunities.
* Track, analyse, and report on social media performance metrics to assess the effectiveness, sharing insights to inform content strategies and improvements.
* Work with graphic designers, copywriters, and other team members to produce high-quality content required for wider channels
* Support the PR and Influencer team on paid partnerships which enhance brand visibility and activities.
* Create short form copy with key audience messages
* Liaise with internal and external copywriters on long form copy briefs and needs to support SEO and traffic driving activities
* Stay up to date with the latest social developments in order to share best practice and contribute to a collaborative discussion on overall improvement potential.
* Being comfortable acting or present in front of the camera, or alongside engaging colleagues we feature.
About The Candidate
To be successful in this role you will need to have the following knowledge, skills and attributes:
Essential:
* A solid understanding of social media best practices, particularly on Instagram and TikTok
* Experience in content creation & social media management.
* Portfolio of previous social media work
* Proficiency in content creation and use of capture tools and techniques
* Proven ability to create short and long-form content for social media
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects, and meet deadlines often reacting to trends, or topical events
* Strong understanding of social media platforms and their algorithms
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Creative thinking and ability to generate innovative ideas
* Highly motivated and passionate about social media and digital marketing
* Adaptability and willingness to learn new skills and technologies.
* Ability to build positive and effective working relationships
Desirable:
* Experience of content creation in a financial services organisation
* Understanding of regulatory guidelines and how they apply to social activity (e.g. FCA, ASA, ICO)
