Job Title: SEN Tutor Location: England, South East England, Oxfordshire Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time Primary Industry: Education and Training Secondary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £25 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: Provide one-on-one support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in various subjects. Create individualised learning plans to cater to each student's specific needs and abilities. Implement differentiated teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles. Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure holistic support for SEN students. Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience working with students with SEN. Knowledge of SEN practises and legislation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field. Experience: At least 2 years of experience in teaching or tutoring students with SEN. Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of different learning needs and how to address them effectively. Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student requirements. Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks. Preferred Qualifications: Additional training or certification in Special Education. Experience using assistive technology to support SEN students. Working Conditions: Part-time hours, typically during school hours. Work on a temporary basis with the possibility of extension.
