About the role
Working as part of a team as a Process Operator working 12-hour shifts following a 4-on/6-off and 4-on/4-off shift pattern, you will have responsibility for your area of the machine ensuring safe running of it at maximum capacity and ensuring highest quality product is achieved.

What You Will Do
1. Maximize output by making sure correct specification, correct material and correct machine set-ups are followed.
2. Work to Standard Operating Procedures, undertaking risk assessments, be part of quality inspections, continuous improvement activities as well as regular Cleaning, Inspection and Lubrication processes.
3. Perform all tasks in accordance with site safety practices, attending safety training as required and contributing to safety audit systems, as well as ensuring all equipment is available for area of responsibility.
4. Able to comply with the lock off isolation procedure – LOTO.
5. Report any safety issues to the Team Leader.
6. Work to site quality standards, ensuring all on-line quality checks are done with integrity and in a timely manner and taking action as required.
7. Manage the production schedule via on-site systems and co-ordinate size change and change over activities.
8. Being present at shift handovers liaising clearly with colleagues.
9. Perform machine start ups and stops as required, logging any problems following procedures.
10. Undertake all relevant training as required.
Who You Are
Having gained some experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment, you will be very focused on safety at work, and be a good team player - communicating clearly to colleagues and support each other. With a results focused approach to work, you will be able to follow instructions, take responsibility for your own area, and use your own initiative. A good level of numerical skills (GCSE level) will also be required.
