Initial Training will be given, and you will be working with timber related products therefore experience working with wood is essential.
What youll be doing as CNC Operator:
Reporting into the Production Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and service level expectations are delivered through the manufacturing of fitted and loose furniture in line with the production processes.
Duties include:
Programming, setting up, and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines.System used Mistro Program System, SCM Nesting Machines. Jumbo 2.7cm x 2 metre boards
Producing parts and tools from different materials
Monitoring machinery
Inspecting finished products
Leading test runs
Maintaining equipment
Adhering to safety and quality regulations
Keeping detailed records of machined components.
You will be expected to:
Ensure all production and manufacturing tasks assigned on a daily basis are completed to a high standard.
Ensure all working processes have been carried out in line with order requirements.
Support colleagues in the production and internal teams to ensure work streams are achieved.
Ensure the quality of products are manufactured and processed in line with order requirements
Report any risk items/processes to the department Supervisor.
Ensure housekeeping is maintained to excellent standards in line with Health & Safety guidelines.
Carry out any other tasks as required.
Were looking for a CNC Operator with:
Previous experience operating CNC Machinery, S CM Nesting Machines/ Mistro and working with wood products
Experience of working in a manufacturing environment and possess the necessary skills for job role is a requirement.
Strong practical skills for production and manufacturing processes are essential.
The ability to carry out instructions in line with production and manufacturing requirements.
Awareness of the required H&S safety knowledge for the job role.
