Contract Details
Contract Length: 6 months, with a strong possibility of extension.
Pay Rate: £15.23 per hour, with weekly pay.
Working Arrangements: Hybrid working (1-2 days per week in the office which is located in Embankment).
Training: Comprehensive training provided to ensure your success in the role.
Key Responsibilities
Review and analyse complex and technical information related to ongoing cases.
Assess a high volume of documents for relevance and disclosure, ensuring accuracy and meeting targets.
Provide constructive feedback to the case team based on your findings.
Accurately review and describe digital material using review platforms and Excel.
Record and manage large volumes of data with exceptional attention to detail.
Identify potential Legal Professional Privilege material and escalate appropriately.
Collaborate with case teams and undertake other assigned tasks as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Educational Background: A law degree obtained in England and Wales or a law conversion course.
Understanding of Disclosure Requirements: Familiarity with the Criminal Procedure and Investigations Act (CPIA) 1996 is an element of this role. Candidates are advised to research this legislation before starting.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with digital document review platforms.
Analytical Abilities: Strong capability to interpret and synthesise complex legal and technical information.
Desirable Experience: Exposure to criminal law, financial crime investigations, or similar fields. Familiarity with large document reviews and organisations within this sector is advantageous.
