Support Team Member - Gantry (Job ID: 1684) Company: ASCO UK Limited Employment Type: Full Time/Permanent Location: Aberdeen Hours of Work: 40 hours Monday - Friday - 0800 - 1700 (/- 3 hours flex start) Responsible for ensuring that cargo for offshore shipment has been fully inspected, with all relevant certification and documentation being verified completely. To record any non-conformance and highlight as soon as possible to allow for the repair/fixing of cargo to allow for the safe shipment offshore. Duties include: •Inspect all cargo delivered to the Gantry in accordance with OGUK Best Practice Safe Packing and Handling of Cargo to and from Offshore Locations and ASCO Global Operating Procedure GOP-QS-001 •Check off cargo against cargo summary ticket, checking all aspects of the load, i.e. Documentation, Certification, Dangerous Goods, Placarding, Integrity, Lifting Equipment, etc. •Ensure all cargo complies with client shipping matrix(s) •Accurately record all discrepancies and raise non-conformances via the QMS tablet and SIDs as required in conjunction with Shipping. •Liaise with Shipping Controllers and other quayside personnel as required to ensure communications is optimised regarding inbound materials. •Confirm dangerous goods documentation is correct and labelling conforms with IMDG requirements. •Attend and Participate in Pre-Job briefings and Toolbox talks. •Attend and actively contribute to monthly safety meetings. •Ensure knowledge and understanding of procedures, work aids and risk assessments pertaining to the role, suggest improvements or updates as applicable. •Ensure Gantry worksite is maintained in clean and tidy condition, both externally and internally.
