Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Transport Planner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective transport strategies that ensure the efficient movement of goods and services. The Transport Planner will work closely with various stakeholders to optimise transport operations while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Working hours: 6am until 3pm / 9am until 6pm Responsibilities Develop and implement transport plans that meet the needs of the organisation and its clients. Analyse transport data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of goods. Manage relationships with external transport providers and negotiate contracts as necessary. Communicate effectively with internal teams and customers to provide updates on transport operations. Prepare reports on transport performance metrics and present findings to management. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all transport activities. Drive initiatives that enhance service quality and customer satisfaction. Skills Proficient in English, both written and verbal, with strong communication skills. Computer literacy is essential, including proficiency in Outlook and Excel for data analysis and reporting. Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail. Experience in IT systems related to transport planning is advantageous. Strong customer service orientation, demonstrating a commitment to meeting client needs. Leadership qualities that enable effective team collaboration and project management. Capability to drive initiatives that improve operational efficiency within the transport sector.
