Facilities Engineer
A Facilities Engineer role is available for an engineer with electrical and mechanical installation experience, predominantly in large-scale production or FMCG sites. This is a permanent role based in Telford, offering a competitive salary, benefits, and career development opportunities with a reputable manufacturing company.
As a Facilities Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and supporting maintenance department and site maintenance activities. Day to day, as a Facilities Engineer, you will engage in the following:
1. Promoting company HSE policies across the department and plant and adhering to all health, safety, and environmental policies.
2. Engaging in projects that improve plant health and safety.
3. Ensuring contractor RAMS and permits are correct, updated, and adhered to.
4. Leading and managing projects on time, within budget, and to specification.
5. Utilising project management tools to clearly communicate and report project progress and blockers.
To apply for this role, you will need project management, contractor control, and electrical and mechanical installation experience. You will also require the following:
1. Time served apprentice in mechanical and electrical engineering or equivalent in an engineering discipline.
2. Proven installation and fabrication experience and knowledge of a broad range of engineering principles.
3. Electrical and mechanical maintenance and installation experience.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Roles you may currently or previously have held include Site Services Engineer, Installation Engineer, Site Services Supervisor, or Facilities Manager.
