Job Description:
Kier Group are looking for an MEP Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our HMP Channings Wood project in Devon.
This role will oversee the MEP delivery commercially whilst reporting into the Project Commercial Director.
Contract: Full Time, Permanent. Ask us about other flexible options.
What will you be responsible for?
* Ensuring compliance with the project's procurement strategy, including subcontract inquiries and tender reviews.
* Manage valuations, project cashflows, and turnover forecasts, including monthly cost reports and progress records.
* Provide legal and contractual advice on orders and changes, handling notices and subcontractor administration.
* Drive commercial initiatives, producing margin improvement plans and supporting team members in maximizing opportunities.
* Lead and manage junior staff, ensuring workload targets, deadlines, and commercial tasks are met and updated monthly.
What are we looking for?
In a Senior Quantity Surveyor, we're ideally looking for:
* Prior experience working in a Commercial role for a contractor or consultancy, ideally with MEP exposure.
* Experience with a variety of contract forms, such as JCT and NEC.
* The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
