Opportunity for an Indirect Sourcing Buyer with experience across indirect spend to join a fast-paced food procurement business.
As Indirect Strategic Sourcing Buyer you’ll report directly into the Head of Procurement.

As Indirect Strategic Sourcing Buyer you’ll ensure that the business is supplying the right products and services, at the right price, whilst supporting the wider strategic priorities around Net Zero, Social Value, and beyond.
This role will suit an Indirect Purchasing professional who has experience within the FMCG sector and is used to working at pace.
Day-to-day you’ll be managing a variety of tenders across advertising, marketing, merchandising, professional services, human resources services, media, stationery and IT consumables, training, travel, and utilities. You’ll ensure that projects are delivered by achieving specific targets through best practice and agreed contract frameworks. You’ll also research and monitor commodity markets and macro trends and apply learnings to approach, process, and procedures to keep the business ahead of the competition.
To be considered for this role you’ll need to have worked in the UK Food, Drink, FMCG, or associated sector, you’ll need to be a strong negotiator, great communicator, and influencer with good commercial acumen. You’ll be comfortable working under pressurised deadlines and timelines and have a proven ability to reduce costs, deliver strategic procurement with experience of managing/mentoring Buyer(s), you’ll be a confident presenter with computer skills including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
